17 ringers enjoyed the new bells at Broadwell on Saturday 11th December. Ringers travelled from as far as Exeter and St Albans to try the bells which all agreed handle very well and sound superb.

Tony Crabtree has been tirelessly improving the ringing chamber and sound control with carpeting in the belfry to deaden the sound, making a big improvement to the sound below in the ringing chamber.

There was ringing for all, from rounds and call changes on 8, Plain Hunt on 7, Plain Bob Major, and touches of GrandSire, and Stedman Triples.
